Who I Am

Hi! My name is Beng and I am an Ecommerce Operations Manager, creative and technical writer, wanderer, mermaid, beach bum, poet and yogi. I used to work for one of the big business process outsourcing companies and have now changed my sails of fate to a different direction: teaching and sharing my passion for yoga.

About My Practice

Humble Beginnings

I have been practicing yoga since 2013 and back then I've had challenges with my own flexibility. This did not falter my love for my own practice, and a lot has progressed since then.

One hard lesson I have learned as I flowed my way into my own yoga practice is that one can only appreciate the beauty of things when open-mindedness is at hand. Hence, my mission right now is to help others enjoy yoga and its benefits as much as I do by getting rid of the misconceptions that I also had when I was starting and letting them focus on their own practice, wherever they are in it.

Let's learn more about ourselves and yoga by breathing and flowing with me!

See you on the mat and namaste!

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues of the body. In a Yin Yoga practice, poses are held for longer periods of time, typically three to five minutes, which allows for a deep release of tension and stress in the body. This gentle practice helps to improve flexibility, increase circulation, and promote overall relaxation and wellbeing. Yin Yoga is also a great complement to more dynamic styles of yoga and other forms of exercise, as it helps to balance the body and promote mindfulness and inner peace.

MyoYin Yoga

MyoYin Yoga is a unique blend of Yin Yoga and myofascial release techniques. In a MyoYin Yoga practice, the longer held poses of Yin Yoga are combined with the use of props and self-massage techniques to target and release tension in the muscles and connective tissues. This can help to improve flexibility, increase circulation, reduce pain and soreness, and promote overall relaxation and wellbeing. MyoYin Yoga is a great way to deepen your yoga practice and enhance your overall physical and mental health.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a gentle and therapeutic style of yoga that promotes deep relaxation and rejuvenation. By using props to support the body in comfortable and passive poses, this practice helps to release tension and activate the body's natural healing processes. Restorative Yoga is an excellent choice for those seeking relief from stress, anxiety, or fatigue, as it provides a safe and nurturing space to unwind and restore balance to the body and mind.
