A Magical Milestone

It has been over a decade since I attended my first yoga class with my teacher, Anne. Little did I know then that it would be a life-changing experience, but the incredible feeling it gave me was undeniable. They don't call it the "after yoga glow" for nothing.

I was instantly hooked. It was love at first practice. It felt as if yoga and I were destined to cross paths, and the connection was glorious.

Yoga not only transformed me physically but also shifted my entire perspective on life. It taught me the art of living in the present moment, cultivating mindfulness, and creating my own magic.

When you stumble upon something that makes you feel truly alive, you seize that opportunity. To live each day in a state of almost bliss, free from toxicity and cynicism, is the most remarkable place to be.

Teaching it only added more fuel to my passion. Five years ago, when the doors of opportunity opened for me to step out of the ordinary and dive deeper into this vast realm, I found a renewed sense of purpose.

I will never forget the first time a student approached me after class to give me a warm hug. In that moment, love and fulfillment washed away the stress and fatigue of the day.

It ignited a drive within me to keep going, to never stop learning, and to share my knowledge with those eager to explore and grow.

Today, my love and dedication to yoga have only deepened. There are moments when a new lesson falls perfectly into place, revealing the intricate connections between different aspects of the practice.

Ashtanga, Yin, Tantra, and Bhakti are among the treasures that have gracefully come into my life, reminding me of the beauty and humbling nature of being a perpetual student in an ever-evolving cycle of growth and transformation.

As I celebrate turning 40 today, I marvel at the wonder of life itself, with all its ups and downs, successes and failures. It reminds me to trust, thrive, live fully, and love unconditionally. To surrender and have faith in the divine plan.

Life is a beautiful journey, and I am grateful for every step along the way. ✨

To celebrate this significant milestone, I have created a short 40-minute yin class that you can practice with for free. Whether you choose to start or end your day with it, it will be a perfect addition to your routine. I sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it for you.

I am also thrilled to show my support for one of my most revered teachers, Ellen Arthur. She is truly an angel and has been a guiding light in my journey through the heartwarming practice of Kirtan.

Based here in Bali, Ellen has been dedicated to helping the local communities, particularly the Balinese stray dogs. It is heart-wrenching to witness their plight, as many of them suffer from complex ailments that require costly surgeries and treatments beyond the means of any individual.

This is Chiko, one of the rescued Balinese dogs that Ellen has helped and cared for. When she rescued him he was diagnosed with TVT cancer (a sexually-transmitted disease) among other things.

He's definitely better now but still needs chemotherapy!

Here's Putih, who had a broken leg, scabies and a fungal infection when she was brought to the vet clinic after being rescued.

She has recovered since then and is now very healthy and happy! All she needs now is her forever home with someone who will adopt and love her.

Chiko and Putih are just a couple of Balinese dogs among many others that she's rescued and taken to the vet clinic to be treated. Sterilization is one of their main objectives in order to try and keep all dogs safe from STDs.

You can follow her on her Instagram (@ellenarthur__) and going through her stories to get new info and updates on how everything's been done.

For those who have known me for some time, you are aware of my deep affection for dogs.I have crossed paths with a few of them, and I love them with all of my heart. 🐶 Unfortunately, some of the local families who own and care for their pets don't have the means to get the conditions treated.

If you feel inclined to share your blessings, your support would be wholeheartedly appreciated. Together, we can make a difference and bring healing and hope to these innocent and loveable beings.
